EPP 5.1.0 Release

Scheduled - Punktum dk A/S is pleased to announce the availability of EPP 5.1.0, containing new features and bug fixes.

The release will be made available in both our sandbox and production environment on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025.

Affected Environments
• epp.dk-hostmaster.dk
• epp-sandbox.dk-hostmaster.dk

Expected Impact
• No downtime is expected during this maintenance window.

Features
• Use of the dkhm:orderconfirmationToken extension is now always required by the change registrant command.
• Is it now possible to use a REG-handle as an admin contact on a registranthandled domain. Previously this was only possible for the billing contact on a registranthandled domain.
• It is now possible to use a REG-handle as a name server manager.

Bug Fixes
• Addition of contact:infData, domain:panData and host:panData to poll messages, where previously missing.

Upcoming Releases
As part of our preparation for fully supporting NIS2 related features in EPP, additional releases are currently planned for the near future:
• EPP-5.2.0 currently planned for sandbox release mid October 2025, will include support for DKHM 4.5 XSD and contain all NIS2 related features. Production release for this version is currently scheduled for January 14th, 2026. A draft version of DKHM 4.5 XSD is available for review at https://github.com/Punktum-dk/epp-xsd-files/blob/draft/dkhm-4.5.xsd
