As part of the transition to Punktum dk’s new administration model, the VID (Very Important Domain) service will no longer be available for new customer sign-ups starting 25 February 2026 at 10:30 CET.
Background
Punktum dk is transitioning to a new administration model to streamline service management and align product offerings with our updated operational framework. As part of this transition, new registrations for VID are being discontinued.
What’s Changing
New registrations for the VID service will no longer be accepted as of the effective date and time above.
The service will be removed from public sign-up flows in our self-service portals.
What’s Not Changing
Existing VID subscriptions remain active.
There is no immediate impact to current customers.
Current features and service levels remain unchanged for active subscriptions.
Impact
This change affects only customers who have not subscribed to VID before 25 February 2026 at 10:30 CET. Existing customers can continue using the service as usual.
No downtime is expected during the maintenance window.
Future Updates
Any future changes affecting existing VID subscriptions will be communicated in due time through the appropriate communication channels.
